The Crown Green Bowls Group

This Group is open to current members of Ripley u3a and Belper u3a.
Crown Green Bowls is a sport that can be enjoyed by almost everyone, whatever their age or level of physical fitness. It is a welcoming, social activity and a great way to enjoy some fresh air, exercise and to increase your fitness and wellbeing.
The new Crown Green Bowls Group will meet on Tuesday mornings at:
Denby Bowls Club, Denby Institute, Derby Road, Denby, DE5 8RD from 10.30am - 12.30pm.
Bowls can be provided (at no extra cost).
Coaching available for beginners (at no extra cost).
Bring your own food & drinks, if required.
Flat shoes or trainers only please.
Toilets available.
Cost £2.50 per session (this covers the use of the green for 2 hours).

The final session for the 2025 season will be on 30th September 2025; the 2026 season will start in April.

From 30th September, the group will be in hibernation.
