The Walking group meets every Monday at 10.00 am at various locations within approximately 10 miles of Ripley. Walks are varied and are usually 6 miles with stops for refreshments en route. Contact Sue Bradshaw for further details if you wish to join the group.

Places of Interest Group: over 20 members expressed an interest in the formation of a Heritage group to replace the National Trust and Museums group formerly run by Ann Lindsay. An initial meeting was held on 18th May when it was decided that the new group should be known as ‘Places of Interest’ to widen the scope of places to be visited. A further meeting is to be held on Monday 1st June at 3.00 pm at the Greenwich Park Community Sports Centre on Nottingham Road, Ripley (car parking available) when a programme of visits will be arranged. Brian Stephens has agreed to act as group co-ordinator.
The Rummikub group meets on an ad hoc basis and is currently full. Please contact Jan Colombo for details.
Beginners and advanced French groups meet fortnightly on Tuesdays, beginners from 10 am to 12 noon and advanced from 2 – 4pm. Spaces are available on the Beginners French group. Contact Ann Lindsay for more information and to confirm dates of meetings.
